Straw life is used to treat water in-situ. This device is capable of providing the required drinkable water in emergency situations by removing the suspended and dissolved solids.
Its consisted of 3 parts: Sand filtration to remove particles from water, Carbon filtration to remove dissolved solids, tastes, odor, color and Hollow fiber membranes (0.01 micron pore size) so that the water is usable for drinking purposes.
