This pilot was designed and built for a PhD thesis project in Tehran University. The main goal of the project was to investigate the effect of electro Bio-reactor on the MBR wastewater treatment system and to reduce the rate of membrane fouling. The model contained two similar tanks with 1 lit/hr capacity. Two positive and negative electrodes were used in one of the tanks with changeable distance between them. It was possible to measure the membrane pressure and permeate flow. Total capacity for this system was1 lit/hr.
